Frosting

October 28, 2010 by Scott Shephard

If you saw this title and thought I was going to be serving cake, I apologize. Instead, I am posting some leaves in my wife's flower garden that seem to offer more evidence that there is beauty in the transition from summer to fall and to winter.

This photo was taken a few years ago, though I have many photos of frosted leaves. I generally get one morning when an early frost comes and decorates the still-colorful foliage in our back yard. But this year I must have missed it. I suspect that because we got our first dusting of snow yesterday, I might find something interesting but it's too darned cold!
