Three tall palms trees enjoying the southern California breeze. My only thought is that sometimes you have to go a long ways from the palm tree’s trunk to sit in the palm tree’s shade.

A View From My Window?
The actual view from my window today shows bare tree, evergreens that seem less green than they did a month ago and a thin layer of snow and ice trying to cover what is left of the grass in our back yard.
The scene you are looking at today appears only when I close my eyes and think of Mexico. . . .

After seeing yesterday’s post, my wife told me not to post any more winter photos for a while. I guess I saw that as a bit of a challenge and so today I am defying her request.
This one was taken last Christmas. But I’m not in our backyard here; we’re in Mexico on the Yucatan peninsula. A blanket of white snow might be nice to see in photos but I would take palm fronds tinted by tropical sunlight any day.
